These are all streaming somewhere or other:
Backcountry: Couple go backpacking in area that's closed to hikers. Bad things happen. Effective indie survival horror. (Netflix)
Under the Shadow: Iranian ghost story. One of my favorite horror films of the last while, but ghost stories tend to be my favorite types of scary movies (Netflix)
Across the River: I'm not exactly sure why, but this one scared the hell out of me. Naturalist studying wildlife ends up stranded in an old abandoned village. Moves suuuuuuuuuuuper slow, but something about it was really unsettling to me. (Amazon Prime)
The Ritual: Friends go hiking and end up being stalked by some demonic entity. Gets pretty batshit. (Netflix).
---- I check for: Serengeti, Zeroh, Open Mike Eagle, Jeremiah Jae, Moka Only.
