Anybody catch it? I saw it on Amazon Prime last night.

For anyone on the fence because of Casey Affleck and his whole sex scandal history, well...I mean if it helps, for most the majority of the movie he has no lines and is hidden under a bed sheet?

Anyway I thought this movie was really good. From the description I thought it was going to be some Ghost meets Wings of Desire type thing--which is definitely WAS NOT. The heart of it is a love story, but it goes way beyond that.

Some beautiful scenes here, especially one sequence involving a song that Casey Affleck's character wrote, and his wife listening to it on headphones.

I think this is one of those movies that's quiet and moody and stays with you long after you watch it.

Maybe one the best movies I've seen in a while, up there with the Shape of Water. But I can see why it didn't get much attention. Even outside of the Casey Affleck drama, it isn't Oscar bait.

After that, I was spellbound. Really extraordinary.

The neighbor ghost breaks my heart every time I think about it.

Wouldn't want to go in with the wrong expectations, but I really liked it, too. Maybe my favorite from this year, but I haven't seen much.
