"The Lost City of Z (James Gray, 2017)"

Yo nigga this shit was an old school adventure film. Well shit and acted, it takes it's time telling the story b.

I know Brad Pitt wanted to play this for a long ass time, but stuck around for an executive producer role.

This mos def should be seen in a theater. This was a nice Sunday recovery from yesterday's wedding and the following reception party.

How in the fuck is this PG-13?

Im a big James Grey fan but was a put-off when they announced he was the lead. My fears were totally unfounded.

took me 20mins or so to get into it, but once they made it to Amazonia, I was in.

Love the way Gray makes movies that feel like something out of the 70s, while still having them seem fresh and not just a homage

Really liked the ending too, helped along by a very good score. I'll need to remember this one when scoring my top 10s at the end of the year

For the record, my teams:
MLB: Mets / Soccer: PSG
NCAA BB: Arizona / NCAA FB: Michigan
NBA: Spurs / NFL: Jets
