ain't nobody seen this?

had $8 to burn for a weekend matinee. decent little flick, even if pitt's wrinkles have magically disappeared.

chemistry between he and cotillard was pretty weak for the first half, but was mostly salvaged by the end.

suspenseful enough to keep you engaged. wardrobe was on point.

And then it gets super-boring, as Cotillard becomes a boring mom and Pitt becomes the worst spy in the world. Zemeckis once again shows that he can direct a great couple of sequences and make a film that *looks* great... but then the movies always devolve into obvious dramas that hammer points vigorously across our faces. At least here it was in the past so he couldn't have any of his painful on-the-nose music cues.
