"Lo and Behold (Herzog, 2016)"

Typically fascinating philosophizing doc from Werner Herzog. Balances the pros and cons of the Internet age nicely. His interjections are, as always, a highlight.

Available on VOD now. Check it out.

It's good and all. Should also say that my expectations were extremely high. I guess that I've already done a lot of reading/thinking/discussing about the internet's impact on our lives and Herzog's observations seem a little 'scratching the surface' here. He also plays this one pretty straight compared to something like 'Cave of forgotten Dreams'. Not as much comedy here. The analysis is interesting...I guess it just seemed really familiar to me. His observations have already been made by others and with more depth.
