~the opening title sequence has once again undergone many image changes to reflect Season 7's overall private investigation theme and new Los Angles, California location. ~this season features commercial bumpers depict various silhouettes of Archer and company in action poses scrolling across the screen accompanied by brief musical notes reminiscent of the television series Charlie's Angels (1976). ~despite it being renewed for 13 episodes, for unknown reasons it was later reduced to 10.
damn. means the season finale is only 5 days away.

Seriously, a damn near perfect episode in every way in what's been a pretty damn good season.
However, I HATED the next episode (with the return of Slater). Didn't work for me at all. It highlighted the season's sole weakness: It's been an extremely weak Lana season. She's become shrill and obnoxious, instead of one of the best female characters of all time, which she usually is.
Haven't watched this week's episode, mostly because of lingering bad feelings from last week's ep. I'm hoping for a strong finish.

... the general lack of full-cast banter scenes. My enjoyment of the show is entirely predicated on the banter between the ensemble, so much so that I can really enjoy it without even looking at the screen. I think they broke up the cast a little too much and both krieger and cheryl were particularly marginalized. That said Cheryl continues to be instantly hilarious with her insanity.
6. "Which is why I liked that hotel brawl episode so much" In response to Reply # 4
Because it was one of the few that featured full cast banter. And it took up the entire episode. It also made the two-part hostage situation episode a solid winner.

Fell off the wagon after the weak first two episodes but since then I thought the rest of the season was really strong. That scene when Archer frees Cyborg Archer might be top 3 in the ENTIRE series and holy shit that finale (although they've done the Archer is dead thing before, it was a neat swerve-on-swerve).
I do agree with the comments above though... weak Lana presence and not enough group banter. Cheryl and Pam were also underrepresented but they still have some of the best one liners ("my bush looks like I sat on Jerry Garcia").
It's no longer must-see TV for me but it's still highly enjoyable. I think they've still got a lot of space to explore if they stabilize as The Figgis Agency.
