There are lots of great movies that explore paranoia, but this is right up there as one of the best imo. Gritty, sad, but also darkly hilarious. Great performances by Judd, Shannon, Connick Jr.

Judd makes my trousers move even when she's scrubby.

I wish Friedkin could've brought Shannon back when he adapted Killer Joe (by the same author, though it's not as good a script as Bug imo). Shannon doing stage dialogue is untoppable.
