Smart, funny, emotionally engaging. Intelligent R-rated filmmaking. Not too surprising, as these are the fellas responsible for Bad Santa and I Love You Phillip Morris-- a nice rebound from last year's Focus, which was... fine.

Robbie, Freeman, and Abbott all really shine in supporting roles. The dialogue is really sharp. It's easily worth a matinee if the concept sparked your interest.
