Some interesting things here. A lot of questions are brought up that are more complicated than are usually addressed in the normal biopic. And the leads are charming.

But the movie is muddy, poorly paced, awkward in its dealings with those questions. It's like it wants to ask all of the questions that are really hard for people to swallow, but then it tries to make them very easy to swallow, and it's hard to swallow those super-easy answers. If that makes sense.

Could be worse. But end of the day, still suffers from way too many biopic problems.
