I've always been a Matthew McConaughey fan and this Trailer looks like it may tell an otherwise untold story. I just hope the trailer alone did not give away the entire movie, I'd like some suspense without knowing the outcome.

I went in expecting and wanting more of an action-war movie, but it was more something else that maybe ended up being more resonant for me. And I respect that the director left The Hunger Games franchise to make this. Might've been a box office bomb, but I can at least see it playing in high school classrooms for the foreseeable future, especially since it covers more than just the civil war era.
