Is there a worst or are they all the same now: all the worst?

My mother will not get rid cable, so every year her bill goes up by 5% and I have to call and negotiate, or switch between Cox and AT&T for a deal - a deal which expires in 12 months and in month 13 goes up 50%.

Is their strategy just to tire you out and have you pay $200 or more a month for intent and cable?
