"Game of Thrones, Season 5"

The first three episodes are already out there. I'm watching the second.

I'm hearing that the entire season might leak as the night progresses?

Anyhow, now's a better time than any to start up a post I figure.

---

But hell, what do I know?

Apr 16th 2015
119
                Correct.
Apr 16th 2015
122
it served LF to put the throne in debt.
Apr 16th 2015

Yeah, so the Sansa scene was gratuitous
May 18th 2015

I don't disagree with the gratuitousness..

I agree with this
May 18th 2015

Ramsay's actions were predictable. And that was part of the problem.
May 18th 2015

May 18th 2015

it's just weird to me she could be this delisional

this is the best rationalization for Cersei's behavior I'v seen
May 20th 2015
440
She could be just a woman scorned. Still smarting from Margaery's Mean
May 20th 2015

1. "wonder how these leaks will affect their release strategy for the future"
In response to Reply # 0

I know GoT is unique in that it's the most pirated TV Show, but surely they can have better security. If they can't prevent the leaks might as well release them all at once on HBO Now for those who want to skip ahead. Either way, the spoilers are coming.

Last season I waited until all the episodes were aired and watched them over the course of 2-3 days. This season I think I'll space it out and just watch one episode a week as its released.

But I've really enjoyed the build up of anticipation watching it on HBO Go weekly the past two seasons.

Plus, PS3 Media Server gets a little stuttery if you try to stream proper 720p from desktop to PS3 for me. This is a show I just have to see in full definition.

not sure how she can turn that around.

the brothel scene, at first i thought that was Grey Worm with another actor switch

props to that little girl for capturing Cersei's cuntiness in the flashback. it's like you knew right away.

Stannis and his hype man, Davos riding on the north should be pretty interesting.

Stannis wife reminds me of a psycho christian fundamentalist

Robin... I know he was still breast feeding at 10, but good god that kid makes Joffrey look like Kahl Drogo.

i hate that Janos Slynt's bitch ass is still alive

right when i was wondering if Tyrion's doggie crate was full of shit they explained it. This show covers all bases.

She was enjoying that a bit too much. So glad John ended that shit. That was sadistic even for this show.

In response to Reply # 10

Winterfell is west of the Eyrie and we already know Sansa is going to Winterfell this season from the previews.

I just don't understand why Littlefinger believes that Sansa would be safe in Winterfell with the Boltons. The Boltons have already betrayed the Starks once before to the Lannisters. However, with Tywin now dead the Boltons maybe less likely to just hand Sansa back over the Lannisters.

I think she's going to marry Ramsay.

because reasons. that I hope we buy.

LF probably has some plan in place to then take the Boltons out and add the North to his collection of wardenships.

Brienne, however, will follow them and could foil it.

But he *litrally* saved the Seven Kingdoms from a massive wildling invasion. Instead of using his Iron Bank funds to invade King's Landing he used it to perform his "kingly" duties in protecting the realm. He gets some credit for that at least, right?

I mean, I'm not pro-Stannis really, I'm just saying that's a pretty honorable thing to do.

maester aemon sent out ravens to all the major castles and kings begging for help.

only davos listened.

stannis only has authority at the wall right now because he happens to be there and he saved them. he didn't really 'conquer' them. the watch takes no sides. or at least that's the idea of the watch.

Stannis came to help the watch to curry favor with the rest of the realm but we'll see if it works. it's not like he's gonna stick around and fight the others.

In response to Reply # 32

Remember, Stannis and Jon Aryn were the ones who discovered Gendry and his "brothers". And since Stannis is all about doing things the "right" way, he wouldn't claim the Throne if there was someone who was legit next in line.

It's be another thing if someone legitimized Gendry, but that's not going to happen.

and secondly, Robert has two brothers.

it'd probably start another war if they made a bastard who grew up in the ghetto into a king. there are others, too. who says gendry is the oldest? according to maggy the frog - he had 20 kids.

was born and that child died while still a baby? I remember back in season one Cersei telling the story to Cathryn about losing her first child. Cersei told Cathryn that after a fan was pushed and lying in his coma. Was that a lie or is it true? If so, that would make the vision that the witch told her wrong.

Also, tinfoil GoT theory is that Gandry is that first child that Robert and Cersei had and the child didn't die. It doesn't make much sense but you never know.

cersei/joffrey had a bunch of bastards killed but they let Gendry grow up right under their nose?

Cersei most likely aborted the baby with tansy leaf. I don't remember the exact conversation but rest assured that kid isn't Gendry.

I clearly remember Cersei saying that her and Robert had one child together and it died while it was still a baby, I believe from some sort of illness. Cersei talks of mourning that child and it being taken from her arms while it was still alive but I'll. She didn't abort that baby but I believe she aborted all of Roberts other babies after that.

I just don't see who would have the motives to take Roberts/Cerseis baby so early in Roberts reign. Anyways, just because he remember the mother that raised him doesn't mean it's the mother that gave birth to him.

it's reminiscent of two book plots, though, which is probably where it came from.

nobody was skeptical of the lannisters until jon arryn and stannis figured it out. maybe varys or LF - but we know what kind of plans Varys has in mind and it's not baratheon babies.

that baby would have been the heir so why steal that one and not the others? if it was jamie trying to promote his seed - he'd have just killed it considering what he did to Bran.

in the books there are other known bastards of Bobby B- and we see how the show handles any kind of subtlety so I doubt they'd have introduced this wrinkle on their own and then just let it hang a few seasons.

there was a degree of levity (albeit in a very twisted way) that the two of those brought to a show which can be overwhelmingly dark. Along with Joffrey it was a good mix.

Tywin was always so fascinating to watch. In fact the only times i truly hated him was with anything involving Tyrion. His quiet alpha moves he pulled on Joffrey were always a treat.

- Stannis since he's gotten to the Wall he's become somewhat Smug. He's almost smiling at people, which is not the Stannis we've come to know. He's stone faced and tight lipped, but here he seems to almost be at ease. I don't know I just found that strange.

- Varys, he has NEVER been as direct with anyone as he was with Tyrion when he took him out of that box. My wife and I figured that because he's no longer in King's Landing and there aren't as many ears to hear he doesn't have to be the Spider any longer or play the spider role.

- Sam is looking less conflicted about his love of Gillie every day.

- Cersei shamed the shit out of Jamie. I'm like damn dog, he lost a father too. Now granted he did have a direct hand in getting his father killed.

his intentions are ALWAYS a secret.

it's possible he's not fully invested in Tyrion/Dany in the show like they've made it out to be but Varys and LF are pulling the strings on pretty much everything.

Varys would not let it known that he is with Tyrion traveling across Essos. He's a person of interest in the murder of Tywin. Cmon now. He's much more careful than that.

They tried to kill Dany in Essos. It's not out of reach.

>his intentions are ALWAYS a secret.

Like you said, he doesn't get his hands dirty, except in private. We saw this in that clip above that Arya was privy to, we saw this in his plea to Ned to admit he was a traitor, and we saw a hint of this in his conversation with Oberyn last season, with his nod to the throne.

However, his S1 conversation with Illyrio Mopatis made absolutely clear where his loyalties lie: to the Targaryens. How are Daenerys and Viserys in Penthos under Illyrio's care? Why else would Varys urge Illyrio to speed Daenerys' betrothal to Khal Drogo?

But he hid his intentions, like publicly supporting King Robert's desire to kill Daenerys (and her child) to the Small Council. Doing otherwise would have been suicide since he knew Littlefinger was just as well connected as he was.

Yet his conversation with Tyrion is the first time we've seen him be *explicit* about his intentions to an "outsider". Why?

- He's at the home of Illyrio, the only person we've seen that is truly on Varys' side (where it's also safe to assume Littlefinger has no reach)
- Tyrion is clearly not on good terms with his family or anyone in King's Landing
- Daenerys is clearly not going back to Westeros any time soon. Linking Tyrion (who has the motive) to Daenerys may compel her to do so.

>it's possible he's not fully invested in Tyrion/Dany in the
>show like they've made it out to be but Varys and LF are
>pulling the strings on pretty much everything.

It's possible, yes. But it would throw the entire Daenerys arc out of wack, because there is no reason Daenerys should have been alive this long. She (and Viserys) would have died at the end of Robert's Rebellion like the rest of her family.

Varys and LF really are pulling the strings on everything, but with completely different motives.

>Varys would not let it known that he is with Tyrion traveling
>across Essos. He's a person of interest in the murder of
>Tywin. Cmon now. He's much more careful than that.

Who says he's letting it known? It's not like he's advertising where he's at. He's also disclosing his motives with probably the only person in Westeros who hates the Lannisters more than the Starks hate them. He's not exactly being "careless" by opening up to Tyrion.

>
>They tried to kill Dany in Essos. It's not out of reach.

"They", yes. But not Varys. Robert was responsible for that, by a public decree. Varys was lucky Jorah was there to stop it. Why would Varys sabotage the work he's been putting in for the last ten years?

Remember, the important thing to note is that Daenerys and her brother should have died when Robert became king, but they were smuggled out of Westeros and privately harbored for years with Illyrio Mopatis. Varys wants stability for "the realm" and he feels that a Targaryen on the throne is the only way to achieve that.

Talking to tyrion isn't the problem.

But Varys is not the type to PUBLICLY take sides. Now, this could change - maybe something happens on the way - but there is simply no way Varys will just show up in Mereen and take her side. King's Landing would find out. Vary will continue to play both (or all) sides until the victory is complete and his involvement will only be known to a select few.

Same with Littlefinger. Nobody trusts him but people also don't know how many things he is responsible for.

The show cannot convey these kind of subtleties well - so they seem to have abandoned trying to maintain it and simply just made them known 'players.'

Those two men were so powerful because they worked in secret.

And Varys' typically claims to serve the 'realm.' He may just be a Targ loyalist because they are the best option in his eyes.

But you're leaping to some conclusions here.

> there is simply no way Varys will just show up in Mereen and take her side.

Who knows what will happen? I happen to agree with you, as that's not his style, but he doesn't have to be public to pick a side (which he's already done).

> Vary will continue to play both (or all) sides until the victory is complete

What victory is there for him if he plays "all" sides? He's always favored stability, and that desire for stability led directly to Tyrion's one question to him at his trial: did Varys forget what Tyrion did for the city?

If Varys really is siding with the Lannisters/Baratheons, then why is Daenerys still alive? That is the critical question your position can't answer, that the show is explicitly showing us.

> The show cannot convey these kind of subtleties well - so they seem to have abandoned trying to maintain it and simply just made them known 'players.'

You're the one trying to find "subtleties" in his intentions, when this was explicitly laid out in Season 1. There are subtleties in his methods, yes, but not in his *intentions*. Again, why was Daenerys sheltered with Illyrio for so long? How did she get there in the first place?

> And Varys' typically claims to serve the 'realm.' He may just be a Targ loyalist because they are the best option in his eyes.

Right. That's exactly what I said above. He's a Targ loyalist, he's not playing "all" sides. Baratheons, Lannisters and Starks on the throne don't foster stability. Seriously, rewatch that scene with Arya. He refers to Ned having the same information to the "Baratheon" lineage that Jon Arryn had, which led to his (then Ned's) death. He knew a civil war in King's Landing was coming, which is why he was pushing Illyrio to speed things up with Daenerys.

So why is Varys a Targaryen loyalist? Robert Baratheon took the crown by force but Varys knows that a true Baratheon no longer sits on the throne. He also knows that the Targaryens held the throne for generations before Robert The Usurper came along. This is why he's loyal to the Targaryens... because he knows that's the family that deserves to be on the throne.

Varys definitely prefers Targs - but I sense you're a book reader - So you know how he's not fair or honest with Targs either (who does he really support in the books? The person he helped marry off to a savage or the one trained to be a knight?).

But to get back with the original discussion - I think the implications of what Varys said to Tyrion are inconsistent with how he operates. Varys has pulled the strings on Dany for nearly 20 years in show time - he doesn't need to go there.

Above all, I think Varys wants to live. He wouldn't put all his eggs in one basket. He'd have a plan B and C and D in case the Tyrion/Dany move doesn't come together. And based on Dany's meandering and Tyrion's impulsiveness and whoring - he shouldn't bank on it.

As a side note, based on what I've read of spoilers (haven't watched the leaks) - they have combined many existing roles into other roles. So, it doesn't make sense for LF to marry off Sansa...but it was simpler for the show. It doesn't make sense for Varys to go on an adventure...but he will (at least for a while?). And I think we'll see more of that with Brienne perhaps filling a certain King's job. And Bronn is playing a Dayne? I don't know...we have to see on that one.

But, if you're a book reader as I suspect, we had to know this was coming. They weren't going to have a season of Jamie sitting outside castles talking to dudes. Or Sam on a boat.

I've also probably been one of the most vocal anti-book-spoiler people here on this board in the past several years. I'm very cognizant of what's in the show and what's not, and everything I'm bringing up here is entirely from the show. With that said, not sure why being a book reader or not matters.

> So you know how he's not fair or honest with Targs either (who does he really support in the books? The person he helped marry off to a savage or the one trained to be a knight?).

Easy: the savage. Why? Because the "savage" is in control of an immense army, bigger than any (or combined) in Westeros. This is obvious with or without being a book reader. Knights are a dime a dozen in Westeros... armies are not.

> I think the implications of what Varys said to Tyrion are inconsistent with how he operates. Varys has pulled the strings on Dany for nearly 20 years in show time - he doesn't need to go there.

How so? Varys trusts very, very few. Tyrion is intelligent, has the correct motives, and perhaps most importantly, shows trust in Varys (remember his one question to Varys during his trial?). Since Varys is trying to put a Targaryen on the throne, in Tyrion he sees a potential situation that can make that happen. This is entirely consistent how he operates.

Well, of course he wants to live, but Varys isn't unique in that regard. You're trying to shoehorn motives into his character that has no basis in how the show is actually playing out.

You're venturing into really dangeorus territory here. This is the show thread, remember? I can answer every single one of these in length if you want, but it's uncomfortable how casual you're just throwing out various arcs.

'Jamie sits in front of castles?' That is practically meaningless.

I fully stand by the claim that Varys is a behind-the-scenes player and wouldn't put his own life, name, or face on the line. He'd get someone else to do it.

That said, it's possible he 'disappears' soon but I think his conversation implied that he plans to do something. While he might tell Tyrion some truth but it wouldn't be the whole truth. I'm simply skeptical the show can portray any kind of subtlety. David Simon should have directed it.

Like Jaime sitting in front of castles is the only thing you mentioned. There's a moment you mentioned that hasn't been hinted at yet in the show. If you don't think that's a spoiler (right after explicitly saying you read spoilers) then you need to rethink your definition of "spoiler".

> I fully stand by the claim that Varys is a behind-the-scenes player and wouldn't put his own life, name, or face on the line. He'd get someone else to do it.

Great. I agree. That's not my argument, nor was it your original position. You were arguing that Varys was playing all sides in posts 99 and 103; I disagreed, I pointed out he's only on one side.

> That said, it's possible he 'disappears' soon but I think his conversation implied that he plans to do something. While he might tell Tyrion some truth but it wouldn't be the whole truth. I'm simply skeptical the show can portray any kind of subtlety. David Simon should have directed it.

Also lol. When Lysa was proclaiming her love for Baelish, she admitted to being the tipping point for the entirety of the series. The payoff for a scene in S1E1 happened 39 episodes later, almost four full seasons' worth. This was also a moment that went way over many viewers' heads. Now THAT is subtle.

And I am even more convinced that LF and Varys have been incredibly over-simplified this season.

I am not sure Varys is a Targ operative. I think he has his own goals and dreams (based on his visions from his 'surgery').

They basically just sent Dany off on her own as a sort of contingency plan in case they need her. They had no idea the dragon eggs would hatch.

And, I'm not trying to post spoilers. I've treated just about everything in here as a show-only discussion. Book aside, Varys and LF are operating way out of character and I think need week will really drive that home for LF.

That said, I think Varys is taking off in Volantis which is why he mentioned it. So maybe he'll get back to some sneaky stuff...

you're making some presumptions with this:

> And I am even more convinced that LF and Varys have been incredibly over-simplified this season.

The LF/Sansa arc already went past the scope of the books at the end of last season so no one has any real idea of where it's going (other than people that have watched the leaks).

And Varys is no longer King's Landing's Master of Whisperers, so he is free to pursue his true intentions. He is doing that with Tyrion. That's not an oversimplification, that's development of character.

> I am not sure Varys is a Targ operative. I think he has his own goals and dreams (based on his visions from his 'surgery').

You're trying to shoehorn motives again. He's not a Targ "operative", he IS operating with his own goals. I'm not even sure Daenerys is aware of his presence, honestly. You need to stop trying to fit the story's narrative with your beliefs on what the narrative "should" be.

> They basically just sent Dany off on her own as a sort of contingency plan in case they need her. They had no idea the dragon eggs would hatch.

No. Again, trying to fit the story to what you think it is, instead of what's actually playing out. Marrying Daenerys to Drogo was the plan, not hatching the eggs. The reason it took so long was because she wasn't of age yet. The eggs were the unknown X-factor when Drogo died.

> And, I'm not trying to post spoilers. I've treated just about everything in here as a show-only discussion.

That's fair, I never thought you did it out of malice, just carelessness. That thread I was referring to still hasn't been revealed yet on the show, FYI.

> Book aside, Varys and LF are operating way out of character and I think need week will really drive that home for LF.

We can agree to disagree. LF's MO has always been ambition of title. We saw that with Harrenhal, we saw that with his departure to the Eyrie, and I'm pretty sure we'll see that this season. Not sure how this current arc is out of character for him.

> That said, I think Varys is taking off in Volantis which is why he mentioned it. So maybe he'll get back to some sneaky stuff...

This could happen, sure. What will not change is his own goal, which is putting a Targaryen on the throne.

he even betrayed ned stark in season one. the man is climbing the ladder. nobody trusts him but nobody knows just how 'behind things' he is. He's ambitious but he never puts himself at RISK for it. he has others do it for him, like any true machiavellian.

He would not do what we both know he's about to do - a) putting her in risk of great physical pain and trauma and b) just announcing he has her and what he's going to do with her.

In terms of Varys, I think he even works more in the shadows. He wouldn't go with Tyrion to Mereen - he'd have Illyrio outfit Tyrion with some riders and send him there alone. It's far too dangerous for a man like Varys in a warzone.

This has nothing to do with my belief of what the narrative should be. One of the best parts of the series (in any media) are the complex plotlines and clever plans and ambitions. I think that has become severely limited in the show (to be expected, to an extent) and I think it's trending toward worse. For instance, why introduce the Lollys plotline to just have Bronn take off to play Liam Neesons? It's weak. Why introduce Tysha? Was Mance really a character with any impact?

And, based off our other conversations in here - you seem to agree that some of the storylines here are way off track.

You seem kind of mad about it so I apologize if I rubbed you the wrong way. But I stand by my opinion that the show has lost most (or all) subtlety and nuance.

> He's ambitious but he never puts himself at RISK for it. he has others do it for him, like any true machiavellian.

Yet he's the one that pushed Lysa out the Moon Door and held the knife to Ned's throat. You have selective memory here. And how exactly is he putting himself at "risk" right now? He's surrounded by, and has the official support of, the other houses of The Vale.

> He would not do what we both know he's about to do - a) putting her in risk of great physical pain and trauma and b) just announcing he has her and what he's going to do with her.

He hasn't announced anything. Brienne was the one that did that.

> In terms of Varys, I think he even works more in the shadows. He wouldn't go with Tyrion to Mereen - he'd have Illyrio outfit Tyrion with some riders and send him there alone. It's far too dangerous for a man like Varys in a warzone.

So... you're saying make it like the books?

> This has nothing to do with my belief of what the narrative should be.

Are you sure about that?

> I think that has become severely limited in the show (to be expected, to an extent) and I think it's trending toward worse. Sounds like you've got some book plotlines muddling up what the show is doing and what YOU think the show *should* be doing. What makes it worse is that since you haven't read the books you have no real idea on just HOW big the book scope is that needs to be condensed into a watchable format.

> you seem to agree that some of the storylines here are way off track.

I actually don't... I'm very cognizant that many storylines need to take different paths to get to the same place, and I can appreciate the changes. Unlike many book readers, I actually feel a lot of the changes in the show come off MUCH better than in the books.

> You seem kind of mad about it so I apologize if I rubbed you the wrong way. But I stand by my opinion that the show has lost most (or all) subtlety and nuance.

I'm not mad actually. I just find it interesting to debate with people that refuse to accept the evidence in front of them, no matter how hard they try to spin it.

I think Stannis is a bully, and probably has ALWAYS been a bully - but what's a bully w/out power? He's got power know and he loves it - too much.

I cannot for the LIFE of me understand why he fucks/fucked w/her at all. She's insufferable and seemingly always has been. Jamie ain't perfect, but he always seemed to be, at the bottom of it all - a decent dude.

yeah, but the change in Stannis' character is a temporary high...he's kinda been losing....the last "battle
he was in, he got his cheeks handed to him (Blackwater)...he's enjoying his win and his "rule" for now...it's only temporary cause he KNOWS he doesn't wanna just be King of The Wall

>- Varys, he has NEVER been as direct with anyone as he was

he's still the Spider, but he doesn't have to be a secretive....

>- Sam is looking less conflicted about his love of Gillie

the more he lives with/around he, the more he's naturally gonna feel this way...he basically has a wife and son now....

Cersei hasn't changed AT ALL...she just happened to be right on THIS thing...but Jaimie was right too...folks are coming now that Tywin's dead....only thing jamie coulda done better was to literally escort Tyrion to the ship....his intentions in freeing his brother were good, but Tyrion decided to get some payback b4 he left....

I think it's more like they don't make money like they used to.

The money Tywin lends to the throne comes from somewhere.

He certainly implied that they need the Tyrell's to keep things on the rails. Especially with the debt the Throne still owes everyone and Littlefinger gone from King's Landing.

Tywin loans the money to the throne. The throne borrows from the iron bank and wont' pay it back. But the Iron Throne gives Tywin money to loan to the throne who is known to not pay their debts?

show is off the rails.

In addition to that, remember Littlefinger was the former Master of Coin, and his reputation as such was highly well-regarded.... because Robert was well known for off the charts spending during his days.

This is Westeros, there are no GAAP guidelines that Littlefinger has to adhere to for shareholders

I agree that LF benefitted from being Master of Coin (mostly the title, partly the funds). I don't agree with your post 126 that the throne was in debt *because* of LF.

In other words, if, say, Tyrion was Master of Coin while Robert was king, he would probably do whatever it takes to make Robert happy (with his hunting and drinking and partying), regardless of cost. Same deal with LF.

This isn't a spoiler because it's long gone in the TV series, but was covered more fully in the books, I think (I haven't read past the second book, so don't worry...) - LF rose in the ranks so quickly *because* he was such an effective master of coin. For example, he invested in commodities on behalf of the crown and was integral in stopping King Robert from going under beneath the weight of his drinking and whoring.

The real financial problems started when LF left the post and Tyrion was given multiple wars and a wedding to pay for.

"Power resides where men believe it resides."

The biggest allure of House Lannister is that they basically shit gold, so much so that many people (both TV viewers and people of Westeros) think "A Lannister always pays his debts" is their actual house motto. It's not. But much of the Lannister power resides in people *believing* that to be true.

Robert winning the crown preceded the Lannister gold drying up by several years (and he was a major cause of that as well). If Tywin had revealed that the Lannisters were broke, all their prestige would be lost.

This was why Littlefinger was so respected as Master of Coin, because he kept the pretense of wealth up for so long (by borrowing shit tons of gold of course).

That particular conversation was notable because it basically confirmed that Cersei was complicit in King Roberts death, and not just him being a drunkard.

pretty similar with them busting in in the low and killing prisoners.

but at the very least, Rob knew (or was advised) that he would absolutely lose Karstark support for doing what he felt was right.

I have no idea what kind of reaction Dany expected gathering everyone up and pulling something this Naive. I guess she just thought they worship her so much, they'd never lash out.

unlike the Rob thing she can probably weather this, but it was just flat out dumb

His arc has been excellent - couldn't stand the sight of him the first few times, but they've fleshed him out brilliantly.

Well, he has plenty of flesh anyway.

Him or Tyrion for me... though a night on the lash with the Demon Imp of Casterly Rock would probably take a month to recover from.

But the Targaryens, man! Royal blood! Aemon was like, 8th in line to be king and HE TURNED THAT SHIT DOWN.

Tyrion would be more fun for sure, but Aemon would have stories for days.

Dammit! Take the knee, change your fate. Oh well. I don't know how this is going to end, but those are those ned stark jeans. You know those old dudes want his head. Best thing about showing the vote is seeing how far behind slynt was.

And Dany. WTF. Execute that dude in the pyramid and put the word out. I'm not so sure surrounding herself with better people. Ser Barristan counseled her, but this was murkier. Easiest path was to just murk the dude in the room and move on.

Lots of other stuff going on. Too much. This show really is spreading out.

I am calling sloppiness with that camera reveal with J'qen H'ghar. I know they had to spend on the dragon shot, but that was sloppy.
