"Your 5 Favorite Movies of the past 5 Years. "

They don't even have to be great movies or critically acclaimed.

But flicks you just like. Watch them joints all of the time. Own them. Watch them when they're on tv.

1.) The Grey - I put this way up their in my favorites of All-Time

2.) Cabin in the Woods - That shit just goes when they let loose all the mosters out.

3.) This Is The End - Funniest flick I've seen in a long time. I re-watch. And keep on laughing. McBride is close to HOF status with me right now.

4.) The American - I just love it. Slow? Probably. But I always watch this joint.

5.) Avengers - Greatest Superhero movie of all time. It's like they tapped into me and my homeboys action figure battles when we were 8 and put that shit on the screen.

I'm gonna have to replace....errrr.....Cabin in the Woods.

>Five favorite (no order):
>The Wolf of Wall Street
>The Social Network
>In The Loop
>Take Shelter
>Toy Story 3
Loved this joint. But felt some type of way (about myself for calling a bear an asshole) and about that bear for being such an asshole. I haven't re-watched since.

>Five most rewatched (no order, also all great):
>The Avengers
>Seven Psychopaths
I watch this joint a lot too. Saw it twice in the theaters. Rarely do that.

>The Trip
>Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Ditto

>Rango
>
>Next five most rewatched:
>Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Dug this one too. I've watched at least 5 times already.

>Attack the Block
I keep trying to check this out, but can't commit to more than 10 minutes.

>Crank 2
>The Cabin in the Woods
>Hanna

The Social Network
Carlos
The Grey/Killing Them Softly/Wolf Of Wall Street/Inglorious Basterds/Enemy/A Prophet (sorry too hard to choose, any of these are worthy)

Everyone seemed to hate it because its "ham-fisted politics," all dialogue/no action, slowness, etc., but I think it's one of the best crime movies out there. It's got a big cult following. A lot of people compared it to The Counselor this year, and I liked that one too, but KTS is on another level.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the same guy was about a thousand times better. KTS is an ugly mess, IMO.

1. Margin Call
2. The Social Network
3. 12 Years a Slave
4. Watchmen*
5. Crazy, Stupid, Love**

* Can't believe this is on my list but I was a huge fan and I didn't see anything else that would knock it off.

**This one might not survive seeing it again but I loved it when I first saw it.

I usually assume that favorite is best, but I like the 2 list method.

My Favorite (which coincide with most re-watched):

The Avengers
The Expendables (NOT The Expendables 2)
Toy Story 3
Both Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6
Inception
The Cabin in the Woods

The Best:

12 Years a Slave
Argo
Captain Phillips
District 9
The Avengers (it really is that good)
