That was horrible...

The show was horrible, Prince playing the "magical negro" was horrible.

I wish I can have that half hour back. Ugh!

Show is still firing on all cylinders but people have decided to call it boring, I guess.

I don't think last night was the best showcase episode for newcomer fans, although Fire & Ice fucking slayed it.

Adding Junior has really tipped the scales of the show in terms of male versus female humor which is a shame for what the show initially wanted to be but as a dude I couldn't care much less. I could watch those four dudes riff for an hour, adding in two attractive women just seals the deal.

...i enjoyed the ep for what it was, and Fir and Ice were the real highlight

...I dug the Prince part, and liked that they went at it from a real fans angle....the whole thing just wasn't funny though....

remember the butterfly Prince had land on his shoulder? at the end where CeCe was beating Prince in ping-pong and Prince storms off, the butterfly flew behind Prince as if it was trying to cheer him up.

And Prince was fun on there. Not buying into the "magical negro" stuff..just a dude having fun with his perceived reputation.

BUT....the whole "Fire and Ice" bit had me rolling...the "Ham and Cheese" was funny too. I would mos def tune in again to check the show out.

And they wrote an episode, shoehorning it into the season. Nothing special, but fun to see Nick's freakout on Prince.

both of us being old Prince fans from days gone by, our theory is that Prince saw the show, and more importantly saw CEE CEE...and his Purpleness HAD to find some way to get up in the mix so that he could meet HER. The actress playing CC totally fits into the old school Prince chick mold looks-wise. (and yeah, i cant argue....I mean really...CC IS so pretty she's almost hard to look at sometimes...girl is gorgeous!

so yeah, the story we heard was that Prince ASKED to do the show, so they kinda wrote up a quick purple episode for him....

ep was 'ok'...not as funny as most, but had a few funny parts....

prince's song was lame though....

butterfly was a nice touch...

and then there's always CC....

last year but schedules didn't work out, he left it by saying he was a huge fan and would really like to do an episode in the future. Then shortly after they learned they got the post-Super Bowl slot, they got a call from Prince that said he was in, and then his character took CeCe home at the end of the night.


So you're not far off from the truth, really.
