I see A&E's throwing it's hat into the serial killer procedural ring with an American version of a Danish show.

Premise: The show follows detective Catherine Jensen (Chloe Sevigny) and forensic psychologist Thomas Schaeffer (James D’Arcy) hunting murderers in Pittsburgh.

And yes, they *ACTUALLY* film in and around Pittsburgh. I do remember hearing about this show shooting here last year.

I see Chloe is moving to TV. Hopefully, her ability to be "box office poison" doesn't follow her to cable TV.

But in Big Love, was she the star?

Hit or Miss she was, but how many people saw that when it first popped up on Netflix.

For her, yea this is major for her. she's carrying the show and on A&E, no less.

true but this is a first for *HER* carrying a show on her shoulders basically (as in the show is basically following her character and the like).

But either way, I'm sold and in.

The pilot script was a really good read, the fact they shoot in and around Pittsburgh and what not is a plus (yea folks here are stank about them not using the Pittsburgh accent. But fuck that...shit is wack juice and sounds idiotic as hell...)

I'm in.

I know folk are anti-A&E because of that Duck Dynasty shit. But I think this and Bates Motel will go hard this season...at least I hope they do.
