"Every Official Post For Every 2013 U.S. Film Release (thru end of 2013)" Mon Dec-16-13 03:19 AM by Frank Longo
UPDATE: Apologies for additional delay. Below, I have not only updated the master list for the rest of the year, but included a December list with release dates below, as I'll be on vacation and thus less likely to update anchors, delete double posts, and what have you. Additions to the main two lists have, per usual, been marked with two asterisks before the title.
I often hear complaints about our search function. We talked about doing a post like this in year's past-- here we are. A list of every post for every domestic film release.
This will continually be updated as the year progresses. Once a film is released, it will be added to this list.
Also, below I will add the mentioned films which have received the highest Rotten Tomatoes percentages. This is neither an endorsement of Rotten Tomatoes as an accurate measurement of a film's quality nor an endorsement of the idea that film critics have superior judgment of what films are "better," nor is it remotely a complete list of the high quality films this year that have yet to be posted about. It is merely a way of hopefully encouraging some people to notice films they may otherwise not have noticed and to expose the board to the widest variety of released films imaginable.
Note: in the big board outage in June, we did lose a few, such as Upstream Color and Now You See Me, among others. If it's not on this list and it definitely existed, it might've vanished then. I included them in the Rotten Tomatoes list, with an asterisk. If anyone wishes to recreate a post on those films, be my guest: I'll re-add them to this post.
(I'm open to requests for anything else people may deem pertinent information to add to this post. This post has been designed to make searching for 2013 releases easier for all of us, and anything that will make the selection of what to see or seek out easier is fair game.)
