The movie's too long, but fuck it... I didn't care one bit. There are so many "why the fuck is this happening? It doesn't make any sense!" moments but in the end, giant fucking robots that can turn into cars and guns and dinosaurs got together and beat the shit out of each other while Dirk Diggler quipped at his daughter's boyfriend and Stanley Tucci put on a master class. I loved it. I mean for christ's sake, they worked in a Lebowski reference. Had they had Marky Mark sing "You Got The Touch" I woulda called this shit the movie of the year.
Also, I legit didn't recognize John DiMaggio's voice for the first time ever in my life.
The movie has real pacing problems (they all do generally, so it's not really a surprise), but it does have Grammer giving the best performance of any of the films by far, perhaps tied with GOD TUCCI. The whole family plot line is whatever, only good for some good Malickesque shots of Texas at magic hour, but Grammer and Tucci-- and TJ Miller, when he's there-- make shit so much better every time they're around.
I wanna see Kelsey play Richard III. He'd rule.
As for the robot action, nothing comes close to the action from the last film IMO-- the skydiving sequence and the falling skyscraper sequence are still the tops for the franchise. Loyalists of the character may respond better to the Dinobots than I did. John Goodman as the fat bearded cigar smoking Transformer= YES. By far and away the awesomest Transformer in the entire series.
Overall, not as good as three, better than the first two.

Dr. Crane was doin' work, but Tucci was putting on a clinic. He was on some Rockwell level "I'm just gonna metaphorically dance the entire time I'm on screen" energy that owned every frame he was in.
Oh, and I can't believe I forgot to shout him out, but Titus Welliver was fucking on one the whole movie. I love that dude, and he too brought his fucking A game. He's like a perfect Bay character actor.

All the rest of the human dialogue (especially the fucking constant one-liners that take you out of the action) and human only scenes were pretty garbage. The weakest parts of 1-3 were the human involved scenes and 4 even expanded on that, multiple can I ffwd this shit please scenes.
Everything involving the actual transformers was pretty damn sweet.
