that embodied "manliness," and could believably pull off menace as well as depth of emotion- Brando, Dean, Deniro, Pacino (and I mean early, thousand-yard stare Al, not Yelling Al), Eastwood, Burt Reynolds, McQueen, even Hoffman to an extent.
Now, there's a bit of a drain on that- Pitt can certainly do it, I'd venture Clooney is convincing, JGL in the right role could pull it off, but the majority of other "leading men"- DiCap, Maguire, LaBeouf, etc.- lack in that area, and the other badasses are British or Canadian (Craig, Owen, Babygoose) --------------------------------- Photo zine(some images NSFW): http://bit.ly/USaSPhoto
