That was a bad episode, the sketches were awful. I thought the one that had the most potential to be funny was the date sketch where they were staring at the clouds. That Grace Kelly farting one was just stupid as hell.
Overall though, SNL is mostly not good all the time, and yet I continue to watch it. What's that say about me?

But solo Seth is probably my favorite Weekend Update anchor in a long time.

When you put it like that, I see your point...compared to Weekend Update hosts of recent memory, Seth is cool, and I dig his persona/attitude/vibe...I just find that a lot of his jokes fall flat...a lot of them. He is funny when he interacts w/guests on the news, though.
He always makes me laugh once...
The bit about the kids standing near the turned over truck carrying Canadian whiskey saying, "It smells like uncles!" was hilarios.
