Sci Fi Channel tried to trademark the name of their channel. Their trademark registration was rejected because you can't trademark a genre, in this case Science Fiction. So they decided to call their channel SyFy

a few notes.

I hope the series gets darker, because we really don't need another light-hearted sci fi show: Eureka's got that sown up.

They need to humanize the female lead FAST, 1 ep in and I want her to die.

If feels like the premise of Friday the 13th (the series) w/the tone of Eureka in a set from The Librarian (whoooo, really showing my nerd now!) if that makes any sense.

Anybody else catch it?
