Cause JJ showed how to bring back a franchise. Lucas fucked up with the Star Wars prequels and Indy 4. But they did numbers so he probably doesn't give a damn.

The prequels alone probably make more than all 11 Trek films combined. I mean, Nemesis barely made more than that bullshit Clone Wars animated flick that came out.

If anything, Star Trek/Wars shows the inherent flaw in the 'bers talk because Star Trek was better than the Star Wars prequels but it probably won't be seeing it box office wise.

To me they always treated the films like a "bigger budget" tv episode as opposed to a feature film. I like what they did here. You got a great cast of young and talented actors who were popular on their own already. The specialist effects was top notch.

I hope I HOPE I HOPE and pray that if they do a next film
they make the bad guy a Klingon and they get someone epic to play him. Kahn was like the best villian in the whole series and that movie was over 20 years ago
