Although Kill Bill was one movie that was too long, so he broke it up into 2 movies,
i think both were quality offerings of work by Tarantino.
each movie had its own pulse and feel to it.
two different types of movie.
Kill Bill Vol. 1 was a rush
Kill Bill Vol. 2 was slow and uneventful at times.
I think Kill Bill 1 packed a punch (no pun), i thought things going on in it with the fighting, slicings and violence and blood, the animated sequence (which was great), it just came out of nowhere. Some cool action and blood spillings.
kill Bill 2. had kill bill 1 to live up to, and fans of the 1st movie would have probably felt they were left empty handed thinking it would be more of the same in KB 2. But again, you still got the Pai Mei sh*t, which was tight.
Overall, Kill Bill 1 was better, and it felt like not a minute was wasted.
Kill Bill 2 was okay, but could have been condensed into about 50 minutes, and it suffered from what most Tarantino movies suffer from: Tarantino being a slave to his dialogue at the expense of the movie's pace, acting, mood, etc. <--- we've got bush!
