and probably make Paul Blart look real stupid. O&R has the advantage of being R-rated, so it will probably be better. And Seth Rogen hasn't failed yet. I'm not sure if it will out-gross Mall Cop or not, but I am very confident it will be better.

If you saw both trailers and decided that both movies looked the same... I just have to wonder if your eyes work.

Kevin James does physical comedy and his movie was rated PG.

Seth Rogen does almost no physical comedy, he's more on an alt-comic tip and his movie is rated R.

I'm not even addressing the fact that the plots are entirely different which is more than evident from both trailers.

Please buy glasses, contacts, monacle... whatever.

Just because they made it the Taxi Driver version of Paul Blart doesn't mean the shit doesn't reek of Paul Blart, lol. And I think absolutely EVERY single critic in this country will bring up in their reviews that the similarities between the concepts are striking.

The PLOTS are not the same at all. Blart is Die Hard. Observe and Report is Dirty Harry. It's not like the flasher takes over the mall and leaves Rogen's character as the one person left who can save the day.

The premise and characters are similar but the stories are different. Observe and Report (or at least a cleaner version) could be a sequel to Blart but it's not the exact same plot.
