Starring Dule Hill from Psych, once again the playing role of Gus. It should be a sign that a lot of Black, crime fighting partners/sidekicks should've branched out from their White counterparts before. The likes of Crockett(Miami Vice), Trivette(sp?)(Walker, Texas Ranger), & so on.

Edit: Just noticed it said CURRENT tv shows. Oh well.

From The Shield...

Focuses on the life at the Barn post-Vic and his Strike Team, with a focus on Claudette and Dutch.

Supporting characters would be Billings, Danni, Julien, Tina, Acevada in a recurring cameo role as he rises in political power, and a new version of the Strike Team, only this time taking a backseat to Dutch and Claudette's adventures in detective work and running the house.

You could even bring back Tayvon and Hyatt as members of the new Strike Team.

Subplots would include...
-Claudette dealing with her last days of her disease and running the barn, trying to keep corruption to a minimum after Vic left.

-Dutch finally learning to work with Billings. His interest in serial killers may also be explored, whether that is becoming one himself is the question of the hour.

-New Strike Team tries to be as effective as the last but struggles to by staying on the straight and narrow. This new team can take older failed members, like Julien, Tayvon, or Hyatt, and also a Decoy Squad approach, and employ ppl like Tina or Danni.
