...I'm gonna get bored. I dug the show because of the unrequited love aspect, so this whole relationship is kinda fucking with what attracted me to it.
Some thoughts:
- The record producer storyline looks like it could be a good one. I dig the idea because it can again show that Moody is this underground hero.
- I don't care if Cum Punch gets her comeuppance, but the former Mrs. Macaulay Culkin better get a fucking dump truck of shit poured on top of her. She has no redeeming qualities whatsoever (well, other than "I'd totally fuck her").
- Pete Wentz? Really? Dude kissed Gracie Sheffield like a fucking homo.
- There is no doubt in my mind that the chick that puked while Hank was fucking her is preggers with Hank's kid.
- The stoner Surfer girl who stole his records could get it. And by it, I mean my penis. In her vagina. A lot.

I just found it hard to believe that Charlie, a dude whom we saw getting fired for jacking off (A LOT) to porn at his desk in the previous episode, didn't know that he was on a "Smash Bus," or whatever it was called... it was a funny bit, but I thought it was sacrificing character logic for comedy... a small nitpicky thing, but it didn't make me like the episode less...

That dinner party was at such amazinging levels of ridiculousness, the end of the ep sorta worked for me because it basically showed you Hank returning to his natural state of confusion but up until that point I was kinda dying.

Yup, Weeds is off the reservation, I watch it anyway.
I even still watch The L Word for some unknown reason.
They take long enough breaks in between seasons that I forget how much I think about quitting them, my DVR still records them when the new season begins, then I'm just happy to have something different to watch for a minute and before you know it I've stuck out another season.

Last season I loved it. This season has me waiting for it to find a direction. I'm hating what they're doing to Charlie and Marcy, it ain't cute at all.
As far as "Weeds" goes that show has jumped the shark, the boat and the pier a la "Live And Let Die".

The dysfunctional bedroom scenes in the first season were absolutely hilarious. Especially Hank and Charlie and the "gusher".
But this season it just seems like it's just turning into a twisted orgy, Mia with Hank then Mia with Ashby, Ashby soon with Karen, Hank probably with Jenny Jones, Charlie with Daisy, etc. etc.
Charlie and Marcy were great in the first season, this season it's just gotten a bit too cartoonish between them. Some great scenes still especially Marcy as a coke-fiend. But I'm worried they are taking it too far.
And I just found out that Marcy is the voice for Bobby Hill on King Of The Hill? That's random as hell.
I'm a little worried the show might have played itself out with this season's Ashby-based story-line and all the nepotism. But still it's one the better shows on right now. And the first season is most definitely slept-on.

yo, leaving your teenage daughter 3000 miles away alone with hank has got to be arguably the worst move in the history of television parenting.
i really liked season 1, but 2 just seemed off to me. everyone seemed like a cartoonish exaggeration from season 1.
i'll still check for season 3, but my hopes are way lower. also, the boobs per episode went way down from season 1. and you can bribe me into liking a show with boobs.

Hank choosing to stay in Cali and let Karen go off on her own after they finally seemed to be getting along...and yeah, he's been dying to get back to NYC from the begining. I know that he believes it's "all about her"...but she's 15, she'll get over her first love and would have found some hipster in NYC that she would dig.
and Karen deciding on the spot that she is okay with leaving her daughter with Hank in Cali and going to NYC alone.
I mean, I guess they couldn't all go to NYC...couldn't really call the show Californication....but since Hank hasn't been doing much fornicating, I don't if they could still call the show that anyway.
This is going to be a shitty shitty season in my estimation.
