-they didn't watch it during its original run.

-they only became aware of the show because of Michael Richards recent actions and judge it by that.

-they've seen all the shitty shows that cast members have appeared in SINCE "Seinfeld"

-they're miserable bastards.


so basically, IMO, "Seinfeld" like it or not, is one of the best American Sitcoms of all time.

Cuz admittedly, in the 9 seasons, there are a few episodes that aren't as funny as the funniest episodes of other shows. So a limited depth of knowledge of the episodes might lead to that conclusion.

But yeah... Seinfeld better.

it's a good show.

I obviously don't comprehend it's importance.

I remember dying laughing @ one episode because Elaine tested positive for OPIUM @ work because of her bagels. THAT...was classic.

Personally, I'd put The Office (US/NBC) above it as well.

Hell, I even like Scrubs better, although that's probably very much a minority opinion.

{ I'm surprised no one has said Simpsons - although to me, Seinfeld probably tops it. }

I'm not shitting on Seinfeld, but IMO it is not the greatest sitcom of all time. It's a classic, obviously, but it's not # 1.

meaning, I'd rather watch a "good" episode of The Simpsons, than a good episode of "Seinfeld"

But I'd rather watch a Bad episode of "Seinfeld" than a bad episode of "The Simpsons".


furthermore, I used to be a DIEHARD Simpsons fan, but I haven't watched a new episode in about 2 seasons. It sucks THAT bad now.
