1. "I pretty much hated The Savages" In response to Reply # 0
I would recommend anything but that. Very boring and the "funny" moments were just kind of off for me. It was trying for the Little Miss Sunshine feel of something tragic happens but then a funny moment springs out of it but all of the funny moments in this film were still tragic IMO. The irony is that while the film sort of made fun of self-absorbed people, you had to be self-absorbed to find the moments funny.
This is also a film that highlights the difference between critics and the general public IMO.

and some of the reviews slam the hell out of it. So it seems like you should pass on this one unless you want to see if it is as bad as the critics make it out to be.

see that shit. top 5 movie from last year and one of my favorite. it's just amazing. words don't do it justice, forreal. you'll come out the movie feeling grateful as hell for what you have in life.
