Lindsay Lohan hopes her forthcoming movie I Know Who Killed Me will show the world she is a serious actress - because she's fed up with her party animal reputation. The 20-year-old recently spent a month in the Wonderland rehab center in Beverly Hills, California - but now wants her work, and not her lifestyle, to make the headlines. And the star believes her performance as a kidnap and torture victim in I Know Who Killed Me will help her achieve that aim. She says, "I don't think there has been a role for an actress like this movie was for me in so long. At first I was like, 'I can't do this, I'm getting my legs cut off. I don't want to look like that in scenes, I want to look decent.' But that was just me being young and stupid. And I have my first sex scene in it, which I always said I wouldn't do. I wanted to do this movie so people can see that I'm a f**king actress and I've been doing it forever and it's about time people see that. It felt so good to really act. I just pray people won't rip me apart for it, and be negative. The thing with the press, and why they need to leave me the f**k alone for a little bit, is because I don't want that distracting from my work. I want to get a nomination. I want to win an Oscar. I want to be known for more than, like, going out. For being the 'party girl'. I hate that. I bust my ass when I'm filming and when I have time off, yeah, I like to go out and dance."

she'd go away for 3-5 years, maybe do theater or maybe work on producing good projects instead of starring in them. then she'd come back after the hiatus, still only in her mid-20s but long after everyone had stopped asking "whatever happened to lindsay lohan?" in a major, but totally unrecognizable role and surprise the hell out of everyone. but she won't do that, cause there's a big, big difference between saying you wish people would take you seriously and really wanting them to take you seriously.

There are tons of places to go out in L.A. but she always hits up the spots that the paparazzi are at. She could either go to smaller places or mansion parties. The only reason for celebs to go to the club is to be seen.

i can't wait until this flops. also, i laugh at all the starlets and socialites who complain about the image they cultivate for themselves.

not literally but now most people know Lindsay Lohan for being Lindsay Lohan, I bet most people can't name 5 movies she's been in and she's been acting for 10 years. She's a celebrity, that's what she's known for now. At her current clip she will never be a great actress. We're at the point where we can't see her on screen as anything but Lindsay Lohan. She can't disappear into a role at all, she's too well known.

Hence the reason I only watch documentaries and indy flicks with unknowns for the most part.

I have a list of about 10 actors whose movies I refuse to support in theaters because I know it'll be absolutely impossible to suspend disbelief long enough to forget about the tawdry divorce they're going through in real life or their recurring drug problem or the salacious affair they had with the co-star while filming. Stuff like this has ruined countless movies for me.

The News of the World has printed pictures which they claim show Lindsay Lohan snorting cocaine.

The video was filmed in the toilets of Teddy’s within the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood at the beginning of March, just three weeks after she left rehab.

According to the newspaper, Lindsay is first seen squeezing into a cubicle with two friends and pulling a bag of white powder from her jeans pocket then, after dipping her finger into the sachet, shoving her finger up her friend’s nose before repeating the action on herself.

A source, claiming to be a friend of the starlet, told the newspaper: “Lindsay does not care who sees her do coke and where she does it.” And she has not managed to stay off the booze either.”

“She carries round a water bottle to try to fool everyone into thinking she is clean but she tips the water out and refills it with vodka and soda.”

“That night I saw her do more than 20 big lines of cocaine. She was still up doing drugs at 11am even though she had started about 8pm the night before.

“She wasn’t even trying to hide it and was blatantly doing it off table tops, keys, books and in the wardrobe, where she was hunched over with her legs crossed almost bent in half doing it off some magazine on the floor.”

“I remember looking at her and thinking how pathetic she looked and how out of control she had become. When she is on coke, which is most of the time, all the attention has to be on her.”

“I have lost count of the number of times I have watched as she stripped naked in front of everyone. Then she loves to check herself out in the mirror as she parades around with her boobs hanging out.”

“One night we had gone back to her place and, as always, as soon as she walked through the door she stripped down to her thong, bent down and snorted cocaine off her coffee table and then off her toilet seat.”

The source added that on the videoed night in question, Lindsay was also bragging about her love life, telling the others: “I’m going to New York tomorrow to f*** Jude Law.”

The source went on: “She has told me that she has slept with James Blunt, Jude Law, Calum Best, Joaquin Phoenix, Benicio Del Toro, Jared Leto and James Franco.”

“She loves Brits and has told me she has slept with James Blunt a few times over the past month. The last time was on April 15 after another house party. I think they went back to a hotel together afterwards. She is very protective over him and when she heard I had met him she sent me a text saying, ‘Stay away from him Bitch, he is mine.’”

“Lindsay told me she has messed around with Leonardo DiCaprio a while ago too but claimed that she didn’t sleep with him.”

Regarding Lindsay’s month in the Wonderlands Center, the source said: “Going to rehab was all for publicity. She wanted people to see her seeking help but it hasn’t got her off the drugs at all.”

“In an average night Lindsay will do two and half grams of coke on her own. She doesn’t buy it - she is given it by friends and acquaintances, and it turns her into an angry monster. I have watched many a time Lindsay treating her staff like crap.”
