and the part where they're talking about funny, black, british comedians...and that awkward pause when Gervais is trying to come up with one, my friend was sitting there yelling "Lenny Henry, LENNY HENRY"...<pans to picture of Lenny Henry>...and Gervais still doesn't have an answer. FUNNY SHIT. Good episode.

I only pray that HBO is running these in order.

As a cool kid, who downloaded these, I can honestly say the first full episode of When The Whistle Blows is the funniest thing I saw on TV in 2006.

but this season has its moments...
i just cant imagine how much funnier the show would be if i got more of the british references...like, for instance, if i knew who that keith guy was....or barry off east enders (Wtf is east enders? lol)
but i got the chef (Black comedian) shit..that was hilarious...

Orlando Bloom was fantastic in the first one. The 2nd episode was also quite good but not on the level of the premiere. Nonetheless, this is one of the funniest shows on TV. Ricky Gervais constantly kills it.

him pointing out Andy to other women during the Bowie song was killing me.

the homeless bit was good too; I remember on the DVD extras of The Office, Gervais and Merchant brought up a homeless guy who had seen the show...that's when they knew they had a hit, when homeless guys knew who David Brent was

I'm already sad there are just 4 more.

didn't see that coming

good episode, but being American I didn't know who that little dude was, so it wasn't as funny to me as it probably was to those in the UK

They've had the running joke that Andy lost his virginity to a woman who looks like Ronnie Corbett. That's him.

By the way, the woman who was being arrested at the very end, that was Moira Stuart:

And the witty comebacks, so hilarious. Everytime they meet I think it might be just a friendly hello, especially when Gervais wants it to be friendly. But the dude just can't resist rubbing it in.
