i hate making the "is no watching suchandsuch" post BUT....IS NO ONE WATCHING THIS GODDAMN AWESOME SHOW? it's in my top 3 right now (right after Mr. Robot and True Detective). we're over halfway through and shit has been HECTIC with: numerous deaths. hilariously gruesome acts of violence. incredible sfx. awesome song selections. Breaking Bad levels of twists and turns and unexpected shit. LINDA HAMILTON saying, i shit u not: "come with me if you want to live!". even Ian Ziering randomly showed up...and killed it.
when it's all said and done, this'll be in the top tier of sci fi gems, regardless of its lack of ubiquity (but i guess that happens to most of the great sci fi tings).
also, Datak Tarr may be one of the coolest anti-heroes on tv.

...I'm glad they ended that conflict with "Beecher", not that I hated it, but I didn't find his threat interesting... the Olmec storyline seems to be dragging a bit, but he is really interesting...the numerous deaths have been interesting
...my biggest issue with this show is that I may be tired of Nolan as a focus...I like the actor, but I'm kinda tired of him and Arissa, even though they did nothing wrong...I'm just tired of them...
"yes, sometimes my rhymes are sexist, but you lovely bitches and hos should know i'm tryin to correct it"- hiphopopotamus

this season's focused way less on them, really. it's just dwelled on the fact they've both been responsible for a LOT of deaths. if anything it's good emotional payoff to see them brought down to size and feel the weight of all that murder and mayhem. Grant Bowler is my dude, any day. but they have slowly taken the shift away from him and Irissa this season which i think is a good idea.
the Olmec thing is some long-term plotting. no way all those Olmec are gonna wake up and totally be on board the peace train.
i'm not sure how much you've seen sofar, but there's a clutch Datak scene from ep8 which is absolutely bonkers.
