"Breaking Bad / Mad Men fans mobilize (??)"
GD folks are talking about the Grey's Anatomy finale like it was the second coming. "It was the best hour of TV I saw this year."
FOH.
I'll be honest and say I haven't seen Grey's at all since Season 3, but I have my doubts that they did more than just nonsensical melodrama. They don't have Pollos Hermanos. They don't have Tha Murdah Twinz. They don't have Betty Fucking Draper, The Coldest Dame this Side of the '60s.

when they showed the episode after the Super Bowl a few years ago. When Christina Ricci has a undetonated bomb in her stomach. That was all the Grey's I needed in life.

Now don't get me wrong, TV has a history of crazy ass 'Bring him to Emergency stat...he time travelled into Chernobyl and has 20 years of radiation, can we cure him' type medical cases they to to fake ramp up drama.
But like, in something like House, what little ive seen, when they bring in preposterous stuff like that it's a showcase for House to do what he does best: be an asshole and solve shit. It's like a cranky, asshole Sherlock Holmes.

Grey's was fire, no doubt, but the only reason I tuned in for the first time in 3 years was the promise of one of those annoyingly self-absorbed main characters gettin' murked
I don't know who this Reed chick was, but I was in once she got gunned-up and clapped quick in the first 5 minutes
On another note, I highly recommend Shonda Rhimes' Grey's blog, where she talks about her mindset while writing these two episodes... it's a good read...
