just reactivated the account so I can watch the movies on the Xbox 360, only downside is that you only get access to their online films -- still, there's some greats tucked away...
just watched Network (note: this is an excellent example of a film with excellent grandiloquent writing. It would only work if the characters have multiple great speeches.)
got 30 Rock s1+2 queued up, plus s1+4 of the American Office (and okay I admit it 90210 s1 queued up, too (oh and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century...))

it only takes a few clicks and I can sit back in the recliner and watch what I want, so lemme know what online films I should be looking for.

little cheesy on the guerilla end of filmmaking and a little too unaware of its POV, but at the same time it captured an absolutely incredible moment that wraps lots of important things into it.
Hard to fault it, because I'm sure it was made on a shoe string, and who cares really in the end it still got me all choked up.
I was graduating h.s. when this was going on.. I remember ex- Mayor Sharpe being on the radio and really trashing Mayor Booker.. but this is such a dope inside look.. I almost died when you see the "gay" governor pushing for sharpe james

breaking news - actually not a great movie but the opening sequence is amazing
perfect blue - tremendous psychological thriller from satoshi kon of "paprika" and "paranoia agent" fame

the cinematography for some of the dance sections was really interesting. The development of the character's stories was kinda weak, but absolutely worth watching just for the dancing.

I don't know if some of these are still available. These are some from that list, and that list left off stuff that I know he saw. So there's a lotta good shit left unmentioned.
I quickly browsed your list in the PTP New Classics post (I was too lazy to double check to see if you've seen any of the following titles) and I noticed a lack of foreign titles so I don't know if stuff like Platform, Distant, Millenium Mambo, Spingtime in a Small Town, and The Son are to your liking. BUT I will recommend 4 Months, 3 Weeks & 2 Days; Golden Door; After Life; and Memories of Murder to anyone especially 4M3W2D, GD, and MoM.
A quick note on browsing through NF's Instant Watch section. The browse by title feature (even if you select "All") leaves off a lot of stuff. For instance, Boetticher's The Tall T doesn't show up nor does the unavailable on DVD cult film, Rolling Thunder.

It wasn't just a good movie, but I thought the filmmaking was stellar. It's pretty much the exact blueprint for how I like my documentaries shot and edited. I LOVED this film.
