just didn't feel naturalistic. like, the way she converses with the anthony ramos character is *too* poetic. but i started to accept that's just the style of the show. it's two people monologuing to one another.
enjoying uzo. she genuinely feels like a doctor i'd want to go see. but that teenager girl grates my nerves worse than the white guy so far.

I think Uzos fine but that teenager is to owise beyond her years. Teens dont talk like that but I still love the back and forth.

It features counseling sessions with couples, shot in a documentary style. The psychologist, Dr. Guralnick, is so good. But one of the couples from season one still gives me nightmares lol. The first couple of episodes of season 1 and the premiere of season 2 are free on YouTube.

I'm liking it, the dialogue took a bit to get used to, it felt like a play than a therapy session. I like that the spirit of Dr. Paul Weston is in the show as well, I hope we get to see him. Maybe in the last episode as her actual therapist.

Which makes it good sessions imho. She got to his core this last ep, you have to watch. Not all patients are pleasant to deal with and he's the epitome of that...dread.

If you're a therapist, I'd like to know what are your thoughts about this show.
