Emma Roberts, who we all sort of see as a bitch found a role that fits her like a glove. She's the amalgamation of so many petty sorority girls that've come before her. She's good in this. She's really good.
- Niecy Nash had me rolling, I was just waiting on that "HAAAA!!!!" but she didn't pull it out.
- JLC, love me some her.
- Man I thought this was going to be a slog, but it was really a great time.
- Son I didn't even hate the Jonas, I thought he was good.
- Also kudos to the thick Abigail Breslin, welcome to the show.
- Only thing I didn't like was how hood they made Keke Palmer. Outside of that though, i'm cool.

and I fucking love it, haha. It was a big reason I loved the first 2/3's of the Coven season of AHS, and I dig how it's back in a big way for SQ.
Definitely in for the season at least, despite some truck-sized holes in logic already (are there really only three sisters in the sorority? and they live in that big ass house?).
I was the same way when it was out. I worked in the mall during the boy band craze. So everyday all day long all I heard was Nsync, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Britney Spears, Aguilera, Mandy Moore, and once in a while LFO. Plus I was a cynical high school student. But now I hear the songs and think they had something.

I was dying when he was mouthing "Hester?!?"
Fucking fun show overall. Ryan Murphy stuff is pretty inspired in their first seasons: Glee, AHS, and now Scream Queens (I never saw Nip/Tuck or his other work though).
Heard it from the wife, but apparently Jamie Lee Curtis was a big inspiration for the show? Because her mother was in the original Psycho, and her recognition as the original horror movie "scream queen".

now the ear muffs make sense. Also the scene where the Chanel's were going through the dining hall handing out flyers. The way she was just throwing the flyers had me rolling. So many of the little things about this show have me in tears. It's all in the details and I love it.

I thought there was no way they could keep the pace up from the first few episodes. I think 6-8 episodes tops would have been perfect. I couldnt wait to watch it every week. Now I have it on in the background just to see what happens.
