Looking forward to checking this out. "I Hope You Can Forgive Me" is still getting steady play from me, eager to hear more.

Also took me forever to realize that it was her on Saba's "Headwrap" from that Saba/No ID album earlier this year --- then once it clicked I thought, how didn't I catch that earlier?

Listened to the album on bandcamp last Friday.

I'm not familiar with her at all.

I’ll have to check this album out.

First half is the better of the two, for me... it really doesn't lose any steam at all until "Run It Back" and "Lesson," easily my least favorite songs.

(Her voice sometimes drifts into something a bit shrill-y, in the higher register, that isn't for me, and it's really noticeable to me on these tracks)

But then it's right back in it with "blue" -- which is gorgeous

Hard to choose tops, and I've mostly listened straight through (rather than jumping tracks), but "Ain't It Nice," "Spent," and "The End" might take it for me.

like you though, i just play it through
