"Juicy J & Logic - Live And In Color"

I wasn't aware that this dropped last week. I know that there are still a lot of people that aren't into Logic, and I have been cold on him at one point. I have been back into Logic from his past 4 or 5 albums, which are typically really dope.

It looks like it is primarily Logic on the production.

I am definitely going to give this a few spins today.

Peace

The production is really good. I can definitely hear that has taken cues from Madlib's production style.

listened to it 2 or 3 times front to back this weekend.

someone brought it up, but i think what i enjoyed most about it actually, was the dialog between the songs. i think it's usually interesting to get more depth from artists outside of the music, and it made me understand both artists more.

i do think these two being good friends is sort of an odd couple, but it all somehow works, and they've been working together for some years now, just more sporadically.

I could had done without the conversations. I feel like the tracks would had been dope to just hear straight through.

I will probably look to skip them later, but I do appreciate hearing their lives normalized to me. You get to understand a little bit more of the person that you are listening to.

That being said, I wish that they were tacked onto the end of a track. That would've been a godsend for KRS-One's self-titled album. There were so many long intro to tracks.
