I'm a big fan of her generally, but this is really good. Might be her best. And considering that I knew she wasn't going to be working with Inflo anymore, I didn't know exactly what to expect in terms of the sound. The producer ( Miles Clinton James) has great chemistry with her approach. Lots of great bass lines and some of the tracks are legit jams that I can see catching on with the public, and there's also some of her most powerful/personal writing. The track "Lotus" is outstanding.

I wasn't wild about it on first listen, but it's different enough from SIMBI that I'm thinking I was just surprised and caught off-guard.
I actually really liked NO THANK YOU and the EP she dropped since SIMBI, was sort of expecting more of that beats-and-rhymes approach, just honed to perfection.

First listen I was not feeling it at the beginning, but starting with “Free”(which I’ve been playing heavily for months) until the end of the album, I was doing a “I like the second half a lot “.
Then I went to, “it’s a few too many drumless deep songs, even though “Blood” is my favorite”.
But now, I like all of those songs, and the sequencing of the album sounds right to me.
Then my last issue was “Young” is not for me with that voice and flow, but there’s probably many who will love that song. But now…..I kinda like that one too lol.
I gotta say, “Blood” hits me like Phonte - Cry No More. Got me texting my sister and shit after hearing it. It takes a special talent to make a super personal song relatable to others to where it hits them hard like that.
