Clipse Announce Release Date for ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ Album
The duo’s first album in over 15 years is officially dropping this summer.

STEREO WILLIAMS

MAY 29, 2025

Clipse have announced the release date for their first album in over 15 years. Rolling Stone reports that No Malice and Pusha Twill be dropping Let God Sort Em Out on July 11 via Roc Nation Distribution. It’s the first Clipse album since 2009’s Til the Casket Drops.

The new album’s lead single, “Ace Trumpets,” is out on Friday, May 30. The Clipse previewed a snippet for fans.

The Virginia-based duo released three studio albums in the 2000s — Lord Willin’ (2002), Hell Hath No Fury (2006), and Til the Casket Drops (2009)— along with three volumes of their We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series. After Clipse’s extended hiatus, Pusha T released several solo projects — beginning with 2011’s Fear of God mixtape. King Push dropped his debut solo studio album My Name Is My Name two years later, and went on to release King Push: Darkest Before Dawn - The Prelude (2015), and Daytona (2018), up through his 2022 studio album It’s Almost Dry. No Malice has released two solo albums: Hear Ye Him (2013) and Let the Dead Bury the Dead (2017).

The duo reunited at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards and in the years since have played concerts together — including the 2024 Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona.

Let God Sort Em Out is produced by the duo’s longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams and will be “marketed and distributed in partnership” with Roc Nation. Or, at least one-half of its collective collaborator, The Neptunes; the production duo’s other half, Chad Hugo, has been in a legal dispute with Pharrell over rights to the Neptunes’ group name. The matter hasn’t been publicly resolved.

Clipse fans can also buy exclusive merchandise “designed by some of the most influential names in streetwear” in the coming weeks. The album’s artwork was designed by the artist and sculptor KAWS.

What happened w/Pharrell and Chad, does anyone remember ? I knew they had a falling out at one point, but can't recall details.

Earlier this year, Hugo took Williams to court, accusing the latter of trying to monopolize the naming rights to The Neptunes. Chad took issue with Pharrell attempting to to register trademarks under their production moniker and in turn violating their agreement to split everything equally. Apparently, Pharrell tried to file three separate trademark applications for The Neptunes under his company PW IP Holdings LLC: one for streaming music, another for music videos, and another for live performances.

He’s rapping his ass off. I love this, and between this, the upcoming Slick Rick album, and the Rome Streetz/Conductor Williams album I’m about to listen to….i feel like this year is finally kicking into gear, hip hop wise.

I basically listen to this song every time I turn my car on. I thought he was just babbling shit that rhymed, but after listening to it, it’s really intricate. Maybe just a few notches down from Pusha’s 1st verse on “If You Know You Know”.

Edit: I limit myself from listening to too much Conductor Williams because I’m afraid I’m gonna make an MPC 2000 XL impulse purchase.

Logically, I KNOW it's been a long time since the last Clipse album just off where I was living at the time, the car I had, the job I had, etc.

But just casually reading "15 years since..." feels impossible haha.

Either way, looking forward to it, "Ace Trumpets" is dope, "yellow diamonds look like pee-pee" is hilarity.

It’s crazy to me how this song sounds like it could’ve came out 15-20 years ago, but in a good way. It’s 100% a classic Clipse song, but their best shit still sounds fresh.

Yeah, I had to wonder if there’s a double meaning there that I’m missing? That’s a crazy way to start off a verse, lmao.

I came to the same conclusion when I realized this year that the first Deltron3030 album came out 25 years ago.

I felt like a complete fossil of a man when that dawned on me.

Clipse Announces First Tour In Over 15 Years

The duo will hit up cities including New York City, Chicago, and their hometown of Virginia Beach, VA.

By Mya Abraham

Clipse‘s reunion isn’t stopping with their new album, as Pusha T and Malice have announced their first tour in over 15 years.

“Once you’ve delivered and once you have done your part, you got to see how things fall in place,” Malice told GQ of their upcoming endeavors. “And a lot of times they fall in place better than you could have planned (…) “No matter the day and the age, you just have to deliver. We do what we do. It’s always quality. Everything is always fine-tuned. We could never just give you haphazard. And I think that’s what the fans recognize about us. They know that everything that we do is chiseled and handcrafted.”

You gotta click through a ton of his IG stories to get to it, but he reshared a few people’s stories that recorded the song and then posted it, if you want to hear some of the song.

This sounds exactly like the old Clipse, but also fresh at the same time.

I heard lines in "Ace Trumpets" about people still being loyal to Yeezy but I'm not well-versed enough in Travis lore to have caught these, unassisted.

I also don’t pay attention to Travis Scott or Kylie Jenner.

Apparently Travis interrupted a studio session and played the song “Meltdown” for Pharrell and Clipse, minus Drake’s diss verse. But then when the album dropped, Drake had a verse on that song dissing Pharrell and Pusha.
