Shook Ones not in top 5 is absurd.

I guess Rolling Stones figures they get good reactions when they publish dumb ass lists on hip-hop.

6. So Ghetto
10. Bobby Shmurda
14. Cardi B

These over Scenario by Tribe completely discredits the Rolling Stone viewpoint. Scenario is top 5 easily. Saying that Pop Smoke and Nicki Minaj are in the same neighborhood as Scenario shows that they don't understand what a top 100 list means.

This should be broken down by era's, so that each era's artists can be correctly viewed and respected.

Rolling Stone fails for trying to go about it without regard to era's.

The order is kind of sketchy. I love PE, but I don't think that song deserves to be in the Top 5. So Ghetto as a Jay Z inclusion is a head-scratcher, Plug Tunin' as a De La mention is weird.

But usually, Rolling Stone's hip-hop lists are condescending and patronizing, so for this to be just "off" is remarkable for them. So, this list is a B- but with the Rolling Stone curve adjustment, I'll give it a B.
