No b-words or pimp talk so far.

The edgiest thing he says is "I know you gon' ride the dick like a pro"..

Definitely not as vulgar as his stuff on Oxnard.

I want to be able to play my R&B in all settings, and Paak is one of my favorites - and the extra cursing adds nothing IMO. Takes nothing away by cutting down on it, too. Leave that shit for goofballs like The Weeknd.

his normal cussing on a track he did with Smokey Robinson on Ventura, but point taken with the possible Bruno Mars influence. Since you referenced Silk Sonic, that brings up the question of when him and Knxwledge linked up to do the songs for this upcoming album; I wonder if it was pre or post Silk Sonic formation.

It would be funny if these first two tracks are deliberately softer in tone and the rest of the album contains the normal Paak cuss words.

Lastly, it would be cool if the residual fame Paak got from Silk Sonic led to NxWorries and in turn Knxwledge getting close to pop fame and dollars. I have to imagine Stones Throw and Peanut Butter Wolf wouldn't mind getting those type of dollars as well being an independent label.

Where I go easily my fav song this year.

I like to think of it as a prequel to sidepiece so I cue em up together.

paaks opening three verses - singing verse (chorus on the opening), rap-singing verse (bridge), rap verse - is Tarantino-esque and highlights his unique range.

Her put her whole foot in that last 50 seconds of adlibs (that lil “I love you” trailing off at the end smh). Some great harmonies and gives some good context to the two-parter.
