Maseo is streaming this on twitch tonight at 8:00 PM ET.
With my son home for a week, he and I have plans to hang tonight with something he wanted to do. Is this going to be available to watch afterwards? (I don't see any past streams available to watch). It crushes me that I will miss this, but it would crush me more missing the time with my boy.
Or does anyone know how I can record it while I am out so he and I can watch it?
After 11pm, when Pos and Mase took the performance, I can say that it was sooooo much better. For the last 2/3 of the show, you could slap the smile off my face.
Dres killed it. Agreed that Monie and Latifah got the 6th man award. The stage had wayyyyy tooo many people. But I understand everyone wanting to be a part of it, and De La wanting to share the moment. So all is good with me on that. Pos and Mase's chemistry and stage prescence on display. I loved how it seemed that all the acts knew exactly how to perform the songs. I assume from performing them during the SpitKicker Tour.
All my frustration with the 8-11pm segements went away and I am thoroughly glad I stuck through to the end. It really helps to see everyone come together and celebrate Dave and De La.

I think even the beginning was cool. It would have made some sense to have Free and dude start the show off and talk for 30 minutes before they went to the stage. Going right to the stage then making us switch streams after a couple hours wasn't cool. Then you get on it and you no longer see the stage right when it was getting good? Instead you have to watch dude (sorry don't remember his name) try to get Free to show she actually knows who De La Soul is was not the move.
Seeing Chuck D then Black Thought and Pharoahe?? Latifah, Monie, Busta...I didn't see Q-Tip but they said he was there. It was great, a true celebration. It could have been organized better but oh well. I'm happy for them. I hope they take some time to enjoy it and process everything.
