"Poll question: Whose beats have aged better. Pete Rock or Preemo?"

Back in the days I was more into Preem but now I mess with Pete Rock more. Maybe part of it is that although I had and have xertain tracks produced by Pete Rock I wore out I slept on the catalog as a whole. Even still.....that INI is a BANGER! He laced them cats and they delivered.

What says you tho?

Recent, meaning last 5 years.

That Skyzoo - Retropolitan album that Pete produced is one of the best albums of recent years and Pete’s beats on that EP he did for Benny the Butcher and Smoke DZA were great. Pete’s still one of the best.

Their previous stuff….I can’t pick. They’re arguably the two best ever, and both of their beats have “aged” perfectly.

The question is not who is making better beats now.

The question is whose beats have held up better over time.

What sounds better today, Hard To Earn or The Main Ingredient?

Moment of Truth or Soul Survivor?

Daily Operation or Mecca?

Living Proof or Center of Attention?

I think that you are missing some responses by not having an option for "I can't decide / I refuse to choose". I land in that camp, and therefore there is no vote registered. I have interest in the conversation, but won't participate in the survey as it is set up right now.

Peace
