This was a shortrelease from last year, literally just Daru on drums and an an emcee. A lot of fun, hard not to hear Quest/Thought lineage in it, definitely heavy on the boom bap and old school references but never feeling cliche.

Got me thinking though, what other releases are out that are *just* an emcee and a (live) drummer? I feel like there are one or two on the tip of my tongue but I can't really think of any. Obviously a ton of minimalist/just-drums beats ... But any projects like this?
