A few things I'm excited about: * Jamael Dean - Primordial Waters One of my absolute favorites in creative improvisational music right now and the singles have been great, with maybe a bit more of a focus on (often wordless) vocals than in the past. This thing is over two hours long, lol, and almost seems in two parts, as all of a sudden half-way through there are others credited. (On the first half, it's just Jamael Dean listed.) Can't wait for my copy but listening right now and it's great.
Lagartijeando - La Tercera Vision I don't know why this producer intrigues me so much but I'm excited every time they release something new. They tend to work with traditional Mexican sounds/samples and blend them into really expansive soundscapes, like mariachi music turned into a beat tape. It looks like they're working with a lot of other artists on this record so I am eager to see what this sounds like.
Mick Jenkins - Elephant in the Room On the hip hop side of things, there's actually quite a bit of interest but this will probably be what I listen to first. I don't know much about him but liked 2020's "The Circus" a lot once I sunk into it a bit. Haven't listened to any of the singles he's put it out this year so not sure what to expect in terms of sound.
Moonchild - Too Good First single from their album that drops in Feb.
Big Sean - The One (prod by Hit-Boy) Only track I was digging ogg the EP.
Alicia Keys - Best of Me It's a Sade interpolation. She dropped two versions, that are only slightly different from each other.
Snoh Aalegra - Do 4 Love Bobby Caldwell cover-ish. I think its a spotify studios exclusive.
T-Pain - I'm Cool With That New single, gotta have some fun party stuff to get me through the week.
Tank - I Deserve Kind of a Part 2 to his first single "Maybe I Deserve" where he owns up to basically lying the whole original song. lol
Plush - Hate All girl rock group. Dunno why I'm feeling it so hard, typically not my Genre. I think the lead singer was from "The Voice" or something.
Funkidustry - On My Road Never heard this band before, fun and funky.
Megan Thee Stallion - Something for Thee Hotties Mixtape freestyle type records she dropped to hold her fans over. Megan got bars and swag and can ride a beat. It's not on my everyday playlist but I like it.
Currensy - Super Series (feat Larry June) My pick on the record with Harry Fraud.
Cesar Comanche & Poe Mack - A Promise Not to Sing New LP from the Justus League founder. This is the most Justus League album since their mixtapes back in the early 00's. I l have always liked Cesar's voice and flow. I don't know about tis Poe Mack that he shares billing with on here, but the production is on point. Khrysis, 9th, Supastition, DJ Flas are all over production. WJLR intros all over too.
Phora - Romeo's Cure Slow jam. Never heard of the artist or why I even clicked it, but it goes.
Trumain Lamar - Never Too Much Another new artists I'm not up on but digging this song.
Keeyan Martin - You Should Know Yet another new R&B artist. As much as I was averse to spotify and algorhythms, they do suggest some good shit for me.

Almost missed this - just listened, really nice! Glad they've got a new full-length on the way too.
>Alicia Keys - Best of Me >It's a Sade interpolation. She dropped two versions, that are >only slightly different from each other.
What's up with the image/cover for the single? We live in weird times. The beat on the "originals" version is pretty fierce though -- took me a second to identify it as a Cherish flip -- I liked this more than I expected, will return to it for sure.
>Snoh Aalegra - Do 4 Love >Bobby Caldwell cover-ish. I think its a spotify studios >exclusive.
It also has a new version of LOST YOU (the "screwed not chopped" version). No backing beat; maybe more orchestration, and a pitched down voice that made me think it was a totally different singer. Not bad but nothing especially necessary. Similar approach to the Caldwell tune and I probably didn't need that, either.

Totally missed this - looking forward to checking it and some the other stuff on your list out, thanks for sharing as always.
