like back when rappers were doing verses on indie rock stuff I felt like this would make a good track. Also, Animal Collective's Taste, I think. Not sure if what I'm thinking is exactly what you're thinking though.
The mentioning of Warpaint above made me go on a dive into this sort of modern rising of women rockers that deserve more credit.
