To my 4hero folks! Look, I liked 4hero during the 2 Pages/Creating Patterns days. But I LOOOVED the collection after the 2000Black stuff dropped in 2008. Man, they have not missed since then. I can't cop everything they drop but when I can I'm never disappointed.

Yeah the UK is just crazy right now. Ego Ella May recently released a deluxe edition of her album from last year -- it's got a couple solid remixes on there you might want to check. Give an update on how this album is.

Dope - didn't know this was coming, should be great!

Never heard of her, but I really like what I've heard so far.

khruangbin - mordechai remixes At first listen, this was pretty good. A lot of indie-ish artists leaning on remix albums during the pandemic (understandably), to mixed effect --- but I'll be going back to this one for sure. Good reminder about that Brittany Howard remix album, too, which was also solid.
Brian Jackson - Jazz is Dead 008 Didn't know what to expect with this one -- haven't made it all the way through but I enjoyed what I heard. That said, it sounded like every other JID release to date, for better or worse.
Homeboy Sandman - Anjelitu EP Prod. by Aesop Rock. I don't really enjoy Homeboy Sandman that much but the Aesop Rock production will probably mean it gets a listen from me.
Blu & Exile also released a single for Miles Davis that I think has a remix -- haven't checked that yet.
Never heard of dude but the features got me interested. Really good, ended up ordering the vinyl, limited to 125.
