Hi everyone.😎 So, we thought it was about time to let you know what’s going on. After taking a bit of a break, Lewis and Sabina have returned to the studio and are currently working on a brand-new Lewis Taylor album which they hope to release later in the year.
What initially began as messing about in the studio with a couple of song ideas, has now turned into a full-blown album. Lewis says, “I’m really pleased with how it sounds and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
Reply below with your top 5 favorite Lewis Taylor songs while we wait for this new music.

you're about to send me down an LT rabbit hole, lol
it's been a few years since I worked through all the albums but that sounds like a great weekend listening project -- i'll be back
I'm kind of surprised though that he's bringing something new. I think I read an interview with him maybe three or four years ago and he sounded pretty content not releasing anything. Things change though.

Exactly. Things. Change.
Like, I don't really get attached to artists like that so when they say they're done, or the "coming soon" takes 15+ years, I don't trip. But this was a pleasant surprise. I'm genuinely curious to what dude is going to create. He jumped around to a few different styles from Lewis to the Stoned stuff, but the production and vocal stylings were always Lewis. I'm definitely going to revisit.

Feel very much the same way. (Although I'd rather have them say nothing at all then suggest something's *on the way* and then have it take a good long time again...)
They don't owe us anything. If D only releases on his schedule but always gives a Voodoo or a Black Messiah -- take as long as you want, I'll be ready when it's ready.
(By extension, we don't owe them anything; if we *do* lose interest, that's up to us. It's up to the artist to get it out or not...)

Yoooo, yes. Leader of the Band slaps. My whole family just bobs to the entire Lost Album and we all are pretty excited to throw money at LT when this new material drops.
