This new DMX is the second time they’ve both featured on a song this month. I would not be surprised if they were planning a watch the throne album at this point in their careers...

but... it only makes sense to strike now before it's too late. I suspect we'll get a project this year, along with a Verzuz with a full crowd.

I don't see them doing the Verzus thing, I don't think they'd want to feed into that history more and it'd be kinda corny. Plus, I think the Verzus thing has already peaked as a thing...

Also, I think time is on their side. They could drop an album together at basically anytime and it would be a huge deal

Maybe I’m wrong. Wouldn’t be mad at all if they did a verzuz together. That was just my initial feeling

A Verzuz surrounding an album release would be huge.
Plus, I don't see them needing to tour anymore with both of them
having paid interests outside of music.

Again on Verzuz, the Method Man/Redman, Ghostface/Raekwon were amazing.

I am pretty committed to putting together a documentary or dramatic series about 1998. It was a seminal year for hip hop.

97 was a transition period and 98 was like the last hurrah.

99 got slim as far as quality.

00 was pretty dope and there have been other really good years but 98 was the end of the golden era.

..i mean, Nas has been too but he wasn't always like that ...Besides some of blueprint, i really don't fuck with hov like a lot of people do

I’ll revisit, but 4:44 bored me. Every post 2003 Jay album bores me. At some point I just stopped caring about anything he says, and I don’t know how to get past that.

That Nas album was pretty good, IMO.
