Whole thing is 10/10 really. When you take the mixtapes into account, LB’s catalogue is right up there with any group. Enough time has passed to where they can be put up with the 80s/90s GOAT groups.

Yea I mostly agree with you for sure. I don't think De La, OutKast, and Tribe can really be touched as a top 3 but outside of that trio LB is in the argument with just about everyone else IMO.

with my mom too. Not the same issues that I gathered Phonte and his mom had, but issues nonetheless and we weren’t on speaking terms for awhile.
Now we’re good thankfully and I usually either skip that one or cut it off after Pooh’s verse just because I don’t want to go back there. But man, I felt that song and especially Phonte’s verse hard back then.

I totally get that. But for me it's the inverse. My mom passed just before I turned 16, so since then there's a few "mama" songs that I've heard like 3-4x, bawled my eyes out, and could never listen to again lol. "Hey Mama" by Kanye is chief among them. Play just the first few seconds of that track and I'm gone hah.

“Cry No More” off Phonte’s last solo one is another one I have trouble with. Incredible song, but the time and place have to be right for me to play that one and it’s an instant tear jerker.
