Looks like it’s a regular album, not an instrumental. Khrysis was rapping in the promo for it. Looking forward to it. Love that it’s dropping on a Tuesday like albums used to, as well.

I can usually find something to get excited about but this really was a quiet week. A few things folks might be interested in:
Elaquent - Bedtime Stories II - Gave it a quick spin, think I liked it more than the first volume
BROCKHAMPTON - Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine - haven't really been impressed by them but have seen some folks whose taste I appreciate speaking positively about this album so I might give it a shot
Pink Siifu - NEGRO DELUXE -- this is literally like 20 new (?) tracks on top of the original album. FWIW, not on Spotify yet -- might only be on Bandcamp.
Sufjan Stevens - Meditations (basically him doubling down on glitchy ambient... haven't listened all the way through but I'm not super convinced so far. (His last instrumental project, Aporia, didn't grab me at first but has grown on me a bit, so maybe this will, too.)
A few random singles: J.Period/Black Thought - All In Your Head The Avalanches - Since I Left You (Prince Paul Remix) Raheem Devaughn & Apollo Brown - When a Man
And I'll throw a random release in here for fun: Samba Toure - binga Listening to this now and really enjoying it. Pretty minimalist guitar-forward music from Mali. I've listened to similar stuff but not from Samba Toure before and he's killing it.

Funkadelic meets Bitches Brew meets...man, I don't know.
Other folks here know more about him than I do. I haven't dug too deep into him yet but this album (the original) was super intense. The Funkadelic reference is more than fair (pretty sure there's a sample or two mixed in).
He has a couple of projects with Fly Anakin, one just released last month and one last year. The 2020 project, FlySiifu's, is really good and is maybe (?) a bit more typical of his rapping style than the Negro album. But I could be wrong there.
He's definitely pulling on a crazy cauldron of influences though and although his shit leans a bit too dark for me right now, it's really engaging and I'm keeping an ear out for his stuff, for sure.
